Fiji Night is a theme night dedicated to the culture and people of this mystical tropical paradise!

Sit back and relax as you are invited to spend an evening with friends. The Fiji fun starts during the day as our Guests are invited to help weave baskets from coconut fronds to prepare for the lovo (Fiji earth oven). The baskets are used to hold the food when it is placed into the lovo. The lovo is lined with hot rocks, the baskets of food are placed on top of the rocks and then covered with large green leaves. The food is steamed and smoked for approximatly 2 hours. Cooking in this traditional method is healthy and nutritious as the meats and vegetables are cooked in their own juices.

Share a Cocktail as you watch the sunset, and then join with other Guests for a traditional Fiji Lovo Feast.  The 4 course dinner includes meats, fish and local vegetables prepared Fijian style and followed by a tropical dessert.

After dinner enjoy the entertainment provided by the Paradise Cultural Group as they perform a Meke (traditional Fiji Dancing). You are invited to take photos and join in the dancing celebrations. Guests are then joined by our staff and their families for a Yaqona (Kava) ceremony complete with storytelling, dancing and serenading. This weekly event is a true Fijian experience not to be missed! $75 per person or part of your dining package. Includes dinner and entertainment
